New York, New York

I have to admit New York City is one of the wonderful places I've ever seen... The only thing I regret is that I've never seen it covered in white snow, as this is one of the warmest winters here (even if it is cold for me that I come from Italy) and the last time I visited the city two years ago it was in the middle of August. Anyway, I'm visiting a lot of beautiful places and I'm doing a lot of shopping... When I get back home I'll show you my purchases :) For now, just a few pictures shot in Central Park!

Devo ammettere che New York City è uno dei posti più meravigliosi che io abbia mai visto... L'unica cosa che rimpiango è di non averla mai vista coperta di neve, dal momento che questo inverno è uno dei più caldi qui (anche se per me che vengo dall'Italia il freddo si fa sentire eccome!) e  l'ultima volta che ho visitato la città, due anni fa, era in pieno Agosto. In ogni caso, sto visitando posti bellissimi e facendo un sacco di shopping... Quando tornerò a cassavi mostrerò i miei acquisti :) Per il momento, accontentatevi di qualche foto scattata a Central Park!

Ordinary life

Hey there! I know I have been absent for a looong time and that this is something I shouldn't already do, as I'm just starting this blog, but days have been so full (and  depressing, many times) and they've been passing by so fast, so this is the first time I actually stop at my computer trying to write something. 

I've done many university tests and it came out that Medicine was actually the only one I failed, so right now I'm waiting for biology results, planning to study there for one year and try again to get into Medicine next year. Anyway, I haven't been running from a test to another ALL the time: I found the time to visit the beautiful Sperlonga, an italian summer place not far from Rome, which I found incredibly beautiful. Amazing sea, gorgeous little city, landscapes to die for... Here are the only two pictures that aren't a complete mess.

Eccomi tornata! So di essere stata assente per tantissimo tempo e che non è esattamente la cosa migliore da fare per chi inizia un blog, ma questi giorni pienissimi (e deprimenti, in parecchi casi) sono passati velocemente e questa è la prima volta che mi metto al computer cercando di scrivere qualcosa. 

Fino ad ora ho fatto parecchi test d'ingresso per l'università, dai quali è risultato che, per farla breve, la facoltà di Medicina è l'unica nella quale non sono riuscita ad entrare, quindi per ora sto aspettando i risultati di biologia, pianificando di studiare lì per un anno e riprovare quindi i test di Medicina. In ogni caso, non ho passato tutto il tempo a correre da un test all'altro: ho trovato un paio di giorni per visitare la bellissima Sperlonga, piccola cittadina di mare non lontana da Roma, che ho trovato incredibilmente bella. Mare straordinario, paesino delizioso, paesaggi mozzafiato... Vi lascio con le uniche due foto scattate lì che non siano un disastro completo!
